How fumigation works
In fumigation, gas is released into a sealed area and held there for a set period. During this time, the gas infiltrates the space and kills any insects inside. Then, the area is ventilated so that the gases escape and the space is safe for people – but rid of pests. There are no residual chemicals after the gas evaporates.
