Heat treatment for bed bugs
Heat treatment, or thermal remediation treatment, is widely regarded as the best treatment for bed bug infestations. An environmentally friendly solution, this technique uses high heat – not chemicals – to tackle every stage of the bed bug life cycle, from egg to adult.
How heat treatment works
During heat treatment, our team of specially trained bed bug technicians uses portable, state-of-the-art heaters to progressively heat rooms to above 120° F. This high temperature is held for three to four hours, allowing the heat to completely infiltrate furniture, fixtures and belongings. We continuously monitor the heat treatment process with strategically placed heat sensors.

Why heat treatment?
Heat treatment is ideal for all levels of infestation. It typically eliminates bed bugs in a single day, as opposed to conventional treatments, which usually require multiple visits. This method also involves less preparation from the customer, and residents or workers can return to the environment the same day.
If you’re experiencing an infestation, contact Guardian as soon as possible to schedule an inspection.
